Dickens World The Grand Tour is a 90 minute interactive guided tour experience that takes visitors back in time to the Victorian England that Charles Dickens knew and wrote about in his novels and short stories.
The professional, performing arts tour guides take visitors on a journey of discovery, bringing to life the most affecting and colourful characters; in a powerful and at times hilariously funny exposé of Dickens’ works.
Enjoy a 90 minute journey starting off with Peggotty’s Boathouse, made famous from the novel David Copperfield. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Victorian England. Walk across the bridges and travel the footsteps back in time with your unique tour guide. Explore Collards Greengrocers and learn about the different social classes in Victorian England’s very structured society. Learn all about Charles Dickens’ life as a young boy through to adulthood. Feel what Dickens felt, smell what Dickens smelt and see what Dickens saw! 
On 3:30pm tour each day (if there is one available) will be £5.50 per person.
The 11am tours - 3pm tours will be charged at £7.50 per person: this includes adults, children, students & concessions. Children under 3 are admitted for FREE.
